Everyday I am composing simulation code with Vim (occasionally MacVim).
As the time when I using vim goes long, my eyes are extremely tired.
So, I've decided Vim's setting as my favorite.
This is just like my memo.
1. Terminal setting.
1) Go to Terminal and preferences.
2) In Settings section, choose Grass
3) Change text colors to white and Cursor to red
4) Leave the background color as Darkgreen
2. ".vimrc" setting
1) Open Terminal and type "vim ~/.vimrc".
2) Type "colorscheme slate".
3) In command mode, type ":wq" to quit vim.
4) Download this setting file. download
5) Copy slate.vim to /usr/share/vim/vim72/colors/
2. Macvim setting
1) Go to Application folder, right click on the MacVim, choose Show package contents
2) Go to "contents/resources/vim/"
3) Open "gvimrc" with MacVim.
4) Comment out "colorscheme macvim" and Type "colorscheme Murphy" out of "if" phrase.
5) Close MacVim with save command ":wq"
6) Go to "contents/resources/vim/runtime/colors"
7) Open "murphy.vim" with Macvim.
8) Find "hi Normal cterm=black ....." then duplicate this line and do comment one line with " " "
9) Edit "guibg=darkgreen".
That's all for my vim favorite.
